Changing themes: Christmas (2/3)

About a week ago I uploaded a post with pictures of the Christmas decorations on my desk (which you can find here). But wait, there's more!
I spent yesterday helping my mother decorating the rest of the house. I dug up some of the other decorations I own as well!
We're not finished yet, though, so look out for part 3!

Changing themes: Christmas (1/3)

It's that wonderful time of the year again when that annoying Starbucks-addicted white girl that always sits at the front of the class starts wearing obnoxiously ugly sweaters and constantly humming Christmas tunes. And that girl would be me... Sorry, guys.

I do love Christmas. To me it's a time of warmth, happiness and light in the roughest time of year. My family comes together and for a period of pure joy we forget about our annoyances and we get to enjoy each others presence again.

My Christmas does start a little earlier than everyone else's, though, I have to admit that. I usually start getting those Christmassy tingles at the start of November and on the first of December you'll find me yelling along to some Christmas music while trying to convince my mum to let me put up the decorations.

This year, however, I have my own little spot in the living room which I can decorate to my own desire. After setting up the Christmas tree at my internship this afternoon I came home with severe Christmas tingles and decided to decorate my desk.

This is the result!

The second part of my Christmas decoration adventures can be found over here.

Autumn fun

I went out to the forest today for my anual Autumn walk. These are some of the pictures!

That little ball of fluff is my dog Snuffel. He's exactly as sweet as he looks.

Magic paint

I went to Ikea with my parents last month and found myself picking up the old familiar mini chest of drawers.

To blog or not to blog?

That's the question!

One that, as somebody who has been semi-actively writing since the mere age of eight and who has spent way too much time on the internet as soon as she knew how to use it, that should have been easily answered. But it wasn't.

Yet I feel like I'm going to have to be honest here and admit that yes, it is mostly because I was too lazy to. I knew that once I'd started a blog, I wouldn't continue it. But here I am and god knows I'm going to try.

I'm going to be posting a wide range of things on here. As I am currently following a TA course in college I have spent a right amount of time on the internet trying to find ideas for a lesson. Part of my blog will be me sharing my teaching experiences and hopefully getting some of yours in return.

Furthermore I will be posting 'creative stuff'. I like to spend time during the weekends doing little projects, like painting a cabinet and making a scrapbook. Those will both be posted on here and on my Pinterest.

I will be posting my personal opinion on a range of subjects, amongst which are music albums, movies, books and (episodes of) my favourite TV-shows.

Please, do keep in mind that I have only just started this blog. Today was the first day I'd ever set foot on this website and I feel like I'm still just stumbling along a bit. Any feedback at all is more than welcome and greatly appreciated!

I hope you have a wonderful day and enjoy this little corner of the internet called Elisa's place.
